Who is Bappi Lahari?

Bappi Lahari was born on the 20th of December, 1935 in a small village in Uttar Pradesh. His father was a farmer and his mother was a housewife.

He was the youngest of four children and he had two brothers and one sister. He spent his childhood playing by listening to songs sung by Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar and watching movies with his friends.

He completed his schooling at Kashi Vidya Peeth in Varanasi, India, where he also started singing for the first time. He then went to Lucknow University for higher studies where he learned music under Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan.

How Bappi Lahari death?

Mr. Lahiri was admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But Suddenly his health deteriorated on Tuesday, so his family called for a doctor to check up on him at home. And again he was shifted to hospital and due to critical condition his health issue increased and died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight,” Deepak Namjoshi, director of the hospital, told PTI.
