What does it mean to be an equality partner?
According to Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary, an associate is someone who “has joined with another for a general purpose.” A collaborator is someone who is not identified as someone who is a little-known, marginalized or disgruntled group – but wants to understand the issues that affect these communities and change their platforms to create change. Underrepresented:
It refers to a group whose representation in the organization is less than the proportion in the general population in the country and the communities around them. In the tech industry, it often refers to women, black, and Latinx employees, but can also refer to Hawaii-origin, American Indian, and those who identify as two or more races. Diversity and inclusion:

Microaggressions:

Secretly presented groups often cite the feeling of being “only” in the room. It is often described as feeling isolated and intimidating – especially if something happens that only affects that specific group. This may include things like that of a male colleague who says something about an incident in a meeting that harasses a woman or an existing ethnic group. We have the power to make sure that even if a person is only in the room, they never feel powerless because they know that they are surrounded by passionate and supportive colleagues. A strong example of this was the Salesforce employee turnout on Martin Luther King Day. Our Black Employee Resource Group, Boldforce, formed a troop of people to walk the local march for the first time a year ago. One hundred people participated in that first voyage — in which most people were of color.
The second year, after promoting what it means to be a collaborator and encouraging everyone to join, over 1,100 people showed up for the march! And most of them were people who didn’t identify with the black word — in other words, allies. Boldforce members described a sense of pride and feeling supported, especially after feeling isolated as part of a small or isolated group. He is the power of the ally.
